Corrosion Protection

An important element in the long-term durability of any tie rod installation is corrosion protection. For the DYWIDAG System, a number of possibilities exist, depending on site conditions and degree of exposure. Examples of successful corrosion protection currently in use are:

• Epoxy Coating
• Galvanizing
• Heat Shrink Sleeves
• Cement Grouting (Double Corrosion Protection)
• Tar Coating
