GEWI ^® Pile

Micro Piles

GEWI ^® Piles can also be used as Micro Piles. The GEWI ^®-Coupler Splice allows splicing of the GEWI ^®-Bar at any point. By using the GEWI ^®-Coupler Splice, GEWI ^® Bars that have been shortened to micro piles can be connected to add up to the required bar length.   

This offers various advantages:

• Easy installation of GEWI ^®-Piles under restricted headroom such as for foundation rehabilitations in basements and underneath bridges and in tunnels
• Short transport lengths, for instance in case of container or helicopter transport
• Unlimited extension of the GEWI ^®-Bar, for example, at anchoring the cross beam for pile tests
