DSI, USA, Inc. is exhibiting at DFI’s Stabilize, Support and Improve Seminar (SSI) on August 28-30, 2017, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.
The DSI exhibit will feature the newly developed DYWIDAG QuickEx® Removable Strand Anchor System, Grade 100 DYWIDAG Threadbar and the DYNA Force® Anchor Load Monitoring System.
Aaron M. King of DYWIDAG-Systems International, USA, Inc., is giving a presentation titled “Removable Strand Anchors: Innovations and Findings” at the seminar. DSI’s patented QuickEx® Anchor System ensures an easy and safe removal of the anchors. Strands can be extracted quickly with ease, even in low headroom conditions. The removal process does not require any special equipment or trained personnel.
DFI’s SSI is a 2‐day technical seminar on the effective application of deep foundations, ground improvement, and soil mixing for stabilization of slopes and excavation support. The goal of the event is to provide presentations on current technologies, design concepts, research, and case histories for challenging slope and landslide repairs, excavation support and slope stabilization projects using deep foundation and ground improvement methods.
DFI Technical Committee Meetings will be held on Monday, August 28 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Presentations take place Tuesday, August 29 and Wednesday, August 30. The Exhibit Hall, featuring 25+ exhibits, is open Tuesday, August 29, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., including the networking reception, and on Wednesday August 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
